INTRODUCTION

She was an artist who lived between ink and silence.

The world outside her window was too loud, too cruel, too real—so she escaped into pages where shadows obeyed her hand and monsters only existed because she allowed them to.

In hidden notebooks and late-night sketches, she carved out stories no one was meant to see: violence wrapped in beauty, obsession painted like devotion, desires too dangerous to admit aloud. On paper, darkness felt safe. It stayed where she put it, trapped in lines and ink.

He was something else entirely.

A specter of her secret fantasies, the kind she doodled when sleep wouldn’t come and her mind wandered into places polite society refused to acknowledge.

Tall and Imposing....

The ghost mask hiding everything and revealing nothing, a blank canvas for every twisted desire she’d ever buried in her art.

Her pulse quickened whenever she imagined him.

Not just from fear.

But from that forbidden pull.

In her mind he existed at a distance, stalking the edges of her stories, watching without claiming, dangerous without ever crossing the line she controlled. There, in that hazy space between fiction and desire, he was intoxicating.

Safe.

A thrill she could keep on paper.

Until the night the thing she had only drawn…decided to step out of the page.

“You draw monsters for a living… but when you finally meet one, you run.

So tell me little artist… are you going to run from me too?”
